Snow Mountains (China Day 7)

3 April 2007

Started off the day with a visit to the Jade Dragon Water Village. This is a beautiful village - serene and peaceful. Nothing much for me to talk about this place, it's just plainly enjoying the scenery and the nice paintings on the walls. There are many stories to it, but I did not have the patience to listen to the guide yak yak yak yak yak....

We then had our lunch and went to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Simply an awesome sight again - Beautiful. Some went to watch Impression Lijiang, the live show directed by Zhang Yimou. While they went to watch the 2-hour show, we had to wait for them. So we got ourselves busy enjoying tea, compliment of the specky gentleman in the pic below.

After the tea, we went for a walk around the place. Look at my parents enjoying themselves. Hehe.. And we took some nice natural pics with the Snow Mountain in the background. Beautiful...

And 2 hours was up! So fast... all you need to do is just to enjoy some tea and click away on your camera and the rest of the gang is out from the show! Yeah... then we took the sky lift up up up up and up...

And we had to walk and walk and walk... we were told that we will walk till we come to a field and we've reached the place to take nice pics of the mountain. The walk was enjoyable.. and very cold too... The place is again 3000+ meters above sea level..

And we've reached the place.. Took many many shots. We were enjoying ourselves so much.. Furthermore this is the last attraction that we will see in China.. Didn't wanna leave, you know... Until we were shooed by the guides.. hahah..

From strangers, we became friends... and memories will stay ALIVE forever!

One last Goodbye~ to the mountain... tata....

And at the foot of the mountain, there's this beautiful Bai Sui He... absolutely breathtaking..

We then left the place to have our dinner.. We all started feeling very 'Ng Seh Tak' already.. We will be flying back to Kunming at midnight, and the next day around noon, we will be leaving for KL already.. sigh.... So after dinner.. we had about 1 hour or so to spare... so we were brought back to the Ancient Town for our last minute shopping spree... This time, I remembered to bring my camera... but the battery was almost gone.. A few nice pics for you to see...

And it's bye bye Lijiang....

Overall rating for the day - Breathtaking.. beautiful.. awesome.... superb...
